The Premier Lacrosse League (PLL) is a professional lacrosse league in the United States. It was founded Paul Rabil and Mike Rabil in 2018 and is composed of eight teams. The league plays a 14-week season, with each team playing six games. The PLL uses a unique, tour-based schedule, where the teams travel to different cities to play their games each weekend of the summer. The Premier Lacrosse League (PLL) is currently composed of seven teams. The teams are:

Currently, the PLL follows a tour-based model, which means that none of these teams are associated with a specific city. Each team competes against each other throughout the PLL season, with the top teams advancing to the playoffs and eventual championship game. The tour model has been instrumental in propelling the growth of lacrosse throughout the United States.
Premier Lacrosse League Salary
Players in the PLL can earn a salary between $25,000 per year and $50,000 per year. The average salary in the PLL is around $35,000. This is significantly higher than the previous professional outdoor league, Major League Lacrosse (MLL). In addition to their salaries, players in the PLL receive healthcare benefits and ownership shares in the PLL.
